We are currently seeking FIFO Batch Plant Operators/HR Agitator Drivers to join our Western Region Mobiles Team. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about safety, hold a strong work ethic and are results focused. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential. Experience operating an agitator is highly regarded. These are fixed term positions with the potential to be extended and move on to other projects. The swings we have on offer are 2:1 and 3:1 which are dependent on the project. FIFO locations will be out of Perth . What You Will Do When Batching: Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant Operating a front-end loader (FEL) Monitor automated controls to ensure correct batching proportions Ensure all products adhere to strict quality requirements Communicate with truck drivers delivering or collecting concrete Coordinate with construction teams to align batching and pouring schedules Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling Quickly identify and resolve problems with equipment or mix quality to avoid project delays What You Will Do When Driving: Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment Load and deliver concrete to our customers Operate and maintain a concrete agitator truck General concrete plant maintenance What You Bring to The Table: Hold a HR or HC Drivers Licence - essential Agitator truck experience preferred however, willing to train the right person Current White Card or ability to obtain if successful Front end loader ticket & experience - desirable Have a professional work ethic with a customer service oriented attitude A Mechanical aptitude and ability to solve problems Have a high regard for safety policies and procedures What's In It For You: Excellent hourly rate plus an hourly site allowance, with guaranteed minimum hours including OT Be part of highly recognised global brand name and growing organisation Ongoing career and development opportunities Heidelberg Materials Australia is an equal opportunity employer, and we employ people from all walks of life.
